Ghetto Out - Casa Sankara is a volunteer organization officially established on January 14, 2016, to continue the informal work initiated in 2012 by a group of African migrants committed to creating an alternative reality to the ghetto, where you can live and design a legal and dignified path to economic and social integration. Since 2013, we have been managing the Fortore farm, located in the countryside of San Severo and under concession of the Puglia region, where over the years, we have welcomed hundreds of migrants. Today, our structure includes a guest house, completed in 2019, which hosts over 400 people from 11 different nationalities. We carry out projects in partnership with local institutions and communities responsible for protecting workers' rights. They are entitled to healthcare and medical treatment. We are also active in several socio-cultural projects, aiming to promote cultural exchange, contamination, and greater understanding of realities.
Terms & Conditions - the Basics
Our Terms and Conditions (T&C) are designed to establish the legal relationship between the site visitors and Ghetto Out as the website owner. T&C should be tailored according to the specific requirements and nature of our community platform. For instance, our T&C for the community platform may differ from those of a commercial website or a blog. They provide us, as the website owner, with the ability to protect ourselves and our community members by defining the legal boundaries governing their activities.
What to Include in the T&C Document
In general, our T&C address various important issues, including who is allowed to use the community platform, guidelines for member conduct, our rights to modify the platform in the future, member account suspension or cancellation, and more.
